In order to serialize the tree to a file (and load it dynamically in a different scene), I'd like to access the tree's data which can be seen in the inspector. However by conventional methods I can't see a way to access this data.
I know about Tree.data but this class does not contain the relevant data (it does not contain anything which can be accessed as far as I can see).
Does anybody know if this is completely impossible, or if there may be some back door to access the data?
I'm aware of the option to load the tree into an asset bundle. That is not an acceptable solution.
